We are a family of thirteen, swept up into a ruggedly imperfect exploration of an infinitely loving God.

We are keen to see the power of God be cultivated in our lives as we grow in vision and grace.

Educationally, we practice “life learning” with our eleven children, which saves them from a childhood tethered to curriculum and tests. We have desired for them to explore the passions and delights that God placed in them from the beginning.  Knowing they have a purpose and a work cut out for them has activated our desire to discern the path God has for each of them as individuals, so we enjoy the freedom to learn from God and life at each individual’s pace.

We desire to increasingly live from a place of freedom, and so affirm the value of asking questions (because they don’t scare God a bit!), being creative, cultivating joy, and experimenting as we go.

We believe that God has a passion and love for every person on the earth!

And, as even the smallest story has significance, we humbly share ours in bits and pieces here.  We invite you into the mess that we find ourselves in, delightedly pursing the heart of God, even as we muddle out so ruggedly the infinity that is our inheritance.

I love your family blog! Also, your beautiful paintings…I also watched your youtube videos. You have a beautiful family! It was wonderful meeting you all at the beach this fall. You are an inspiration and I will continue to read your blogs, as they are such a good reminder to rest in Christ, that that old song “Down at your feet oh Lord, is the most High place”…is so very true! (maybe not on our knees physically, but our hearts in bowed submission and desperate need for Him)…May God richly bless you and your new addition to your family coming this next year! God bless.

    Hey Bonnie,
    It’s Jenn Augustine.
It was so nice meeting you today.
I have heard so much (good things) about you and your family from Laura.
Jonathan was really happy to see you two as well!
You seem like a very warm and genuine person, it is so refreshing!
I have had a chance to read some of your blog so far, you are very articulate and inspiring.
I love how you talk about God’s love and just how much you love your family.
    So beautiful.
I also love that you are not afraid to go off the grid & encourage questions and exploring.
Like you said nothing is to big for our God, amen!
I cannot wait to read more.
Hope to see you again, and hopefully meet the rest of your lovely family.
    One of my favorite scriptures
Jeremiah 29:11-“For I know the plans I have for you”, declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope a d a future”.
    God Bless
